This rare and unique full-page Rolex Daytona advertisement speaks for itself, but let’s take a pit stop to provide some context and comments…

If you can avert your eyes from that Panda dial, you’ll notice not one, but two, images taken at the Daytona Speedway racetrack. I don’t know about you, but having the hero image being an action shot from THE race the model is named after is icing on the cake.

Then there’s the thumbnail pic inset into the copy - a proud, personal photo of winning driver, Benny Parsons. This human touch to the ad not only introduces you to a brand ambassador of sorts, but also reinforces the heritage of the Daytona - part of its legacy being that it was awarded to drivers. Of course, if you finished second place or couldn’t drive a stick, you could still get a Daytona from your local jeweler. How cool is it that the list price in this ad happens to be $500 ;)

Only a handful of full-page Daytona advertisements exist that solely feature a stainless steel model. The limited nature of these ads means that any one can be considered a grail ad to own.

All of our watches include complementary insured shipping within the 50 states.

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
