Why We Love it
–There’s nothing more classic and appealing than a simple dress watch.
Though to be fair, when we say ‘simple’, we mean ‘uncomplicated’ — not unattractive! The 20th century saw a plethora of such watches hit the market. Generally available on leather straps and featuring two or three hands, these reliable wristwatches kept time during the classiest decades of the past 100 years. However, some were more innovative, and dare we say, flashier than others.
Take this awesome piece from Piaget. Yes, they've developed a reputation for specializing in ultra-thin watchmaking, but the manufature has ascended to a house renowned for its jewelry-forward design.Â
Housed in a 26mm 18Kyellow gold case, this piece features a sapphire crystal; a correct, unsigned crown; and a bold, chain-link integrated bracelet with a signed hook and lock clasp. When it comes to stylized integrated bracelets, no one in the game does it better than Piaget. This bracelet is more substantial — not just in terms of weight in gold, but its personality and presence on the wrist.
Much simpler, but elegant in its aesthetic, the black dial features Roman indices and a matching gold dauphine handset, leaving the wearer and and onlooker out in the wild to fully appreciate its bracelet design.
While these beautiful Piaget pieces from the late 20th century went underappreciated for many years, we have recently seen a deserved surge in interest for these avant-garde design, and we're here for it!
*Due to the design of this bracelet, sizing alterations may require custom work. Lead time after measurements are established is 4-6 weeks.*

Brand Story
+In 1960, Piaget released the Calibre 12P, the thinnest automatic movement in the world at the time, at just 2.3mm. It fitted many of its miniature movements into innovative timepieces hidden in coins, brooches, and cufflinks, becoming known equally for its jewelry.
The Piaget Altiplano Ultimate, released as a concept in 2018, became a full production model in 2020. At just 2mm thick, it took the record for thinnest watch on Earth. Today, Piaget continues to innovate in the realm of ultra-thin watchmaking, creating ultra-thin tourbillons, retrograde movements, and more.
