The Ferrari Testarossa

Released in 1984 as the successor to the Berlinetta Boxer, the Testarossa became a staple of 1980s design famous for its appearance on Miami Vice. Powered by a 12-cylinder engine with a five-speed manual transmission, it was made in roughly 10,000 examples, making it one of the most mass-produced cars in Ferrari history.

Car guys — much like watch guys — love their tech specs, which is why this 1985 poster-like spec sheet is so compelling: Displaying a beautiful red Testarossa from multiple angles, it gets into the nitty-girtty:

"Maximum Speed: 290 km/h

Acceleration: from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8..."

If the idea of tearing down the track at nearly 300 km/h doesn't get your blood pumping, then you might need to see the doctor!

This ad is custom framed in a 22 3/4” x 16 1/2” natural wood frame with a black opaque finish. It features a custom-measured, hand-cut 4-ply matte in a shade of white, complimenting all the ad tones. Every material used is acid-free and the glass is anti-reflective and offers UV-protection to keep this precious ad preserved no matter where you decide to hang it up. Speaking of which, hanging your newly purchased ad is a seamless task, as this particular frame comes with an additional hanging wire and felt pads for wall protection.

Whether or not you've got a Testarossa, this vintage ad deserves pride of place in your garage or office. After all, few cars become true icons — and the Testarossa is one of them.
