Details

Watch collecting is mostly about timepieces themselves, but surrounding these objects with a whole host of other items that are part and parcel of the same world is inescapable.

Jeweler's loupes to examine said timepieces, valet trays to hold one’s “pocket litter” (to use an old bit of espionage lingo), lighters to light up that occasional Cuban cigar…we love accessories, and our offices are littered with them. However, we couldn’t possibly keep all these objects to ourselves, which is why we’re offering some of the coolest vintage finds right here, just in time for holiday gifting — whether to a loved one, or to yourself!

If you’re into militaria; if you wear ties frequently; if you’re one for made-in-the-U.S.A. goods — check this out: It’s a submarine-shaped tie bar from General Dynamics made in America by Robbins Co. of Attleboro MA (General Dynamics is an American defense contractor founded in 1899 that consists of 10 companies based in 45 countries.)

This oversized submarine tie clip measures approximately 2 1/2“ and uses a pinch clip mechanism to keep this submersible on your person, whether that’s traditionally on a tie to put the finishing touches on a dapper outfit, or clipped onto a bag for some added personality.

Either way, your enthusiasm will be on full display.
