Much like in watches, where owning the watch isn’t enough, the likes of books, vintage ads and other ephemera related to that watch make their way into the collection, cars have the very same relationship with objects adjacent to their respective brand or the hobby in general.

This particular vintage find is for the Mercedes-Benz owners in the house and represents a cool look at the ever-evolving history of Mercedes Benz's logo design - one of the most recognizable branding elements in the world. In 1926 Mercedes and Benz officially merged to become "Mercedes-Benz." Mercedes' three-pointed star was placed in the center of Benz' laurel wreath and this icon was born. In the same year, the first ever V8 Mercedes won the German Grand Prix, kicking off a legacy of producing sublime road and race cars that continue to this day. In the years since, the logo design has evolved slightly, with the outer wreath and wordmark portion often used to surround the base of a three-pointed star hood ornament.

This vintage 1980s Mercedes-Benz key fob features the original wreathed star logo design with blue and silver accents, affixed to a black leather swatch with matching colored stitching and an accompanying metal key ring. With a profile measuring approximately 2 1/2” x 1 1/2”, this fob will look the part and do its duty with respect to the heritage of the brand, whether its attached to a set of keys for a vintage Benz or a more contemporary model!

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
