Pan-Am Vintage Travel Shoulder Bag

For much of the 20th century, Pan American Airways was the international air carrier, an innovative airline that was the first to fly worldwide routes, utilize jet aircraft, and upgrade to computerized reservation systems. From its humble beginnings in Florida in 1927 through to its dissolution in 1991, Pan-Am captured the American imagination, and indeed, the imagination of early international travelers across the entire world.

We’re not shy about our display of Pan-Am ephemera here at the Analog:Shift office. From the several books dedicated to the storied company stacked in the bookcase and vintage advertisements hung on our walls, to the aircraft sculptures and charming lighters stamped with the logo littered throughout, there’s no doubt that we adore everything that Pan Am represents, and the feeling of wanderlust that arises anytime the idea of travel crosses our mind. 

This particular Pan Am piece is slightly different than what we’re used to offering, but no less cooler. It’s a new old stock Pan-Am Airline flight bag, typically provided to commercial pilots to store their personal belongings, as well as essential equipment required to complete a flight such as charts and checklists. 

Presenting in incredible, unused condition, this light blue canvas Pan-Am flight bag features a main compartment accessible by way of a signed zipper, an outer sleeve pocket and a stamped Pan-Am logo. The flight bag measures approximately 15” x 10” x 6” and also features a shoulder strap so you could sling it over your head and go, whether that’s to the gym, about town or an actual flight of your own.

Most of our products are on hand and will ship directly from our headquarters in New York City. In some cases, watches will be shipped directly from one of our authorized partners.

We generally ship our products via FedEx, fully insured, within 5 business days of purchase. An adult signature is required for receipt of all packages for insurance purposes. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. We are also happy to hand deliver your purchase in Manhattan or you may pick it up at our showroom.

Returns must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. A restocking fee may apply. Watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
